Bastian Schweinsteiger optimistic stare chances to make its debut appearance at Manchester United in the last eight months, after he joined the team squad for the match against West Ham.
Injuries suffered by Michael Carrick makes Schweinsteiger, who recently returned to training in the first team last month, returned to the squad for the match official, the first time since the team's win over City in March.
Carrick injury and also ban play obtained by Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini, may be made Schweinsteiger's first team in the League Cup match against West Ham at Old Trafford this weekend.
By using his Twitter account, the player Germany wrote: "The team showed a good performance. Unfortunately, we could not achieve the rewards that we wanted in the end! Let's continue to move on and I am looking forward to the next game."
The 32-year-old player is not included in the core squad Jose Mourinho during pre-season and he was asked to train with the reserve team. Schweinsteiger then started to train separately from the youth team, to keep his condition, before he was again called into the first team last month.
